MERENUNGI NIKMAH ALLAH SWT.
God's Blessed Friday Congregation
Friday is the best day, so it's a good time to keep reminding takwallah. This is always conveyed by the preacher to always increase piety by carrying out orders and staying away from His prohibitions. This gives a message that how important and valuable it is to keep takwallah. Realize that you are always under the supervision of Allah in all circumstances and situations. Therefore, I advise myself and the happy congregation to continue to maintain and cultivate the takwallah in health.
Happy Audience
The most expensive pleasure of life in this world is health, because whatever we have in this world will not be enjoyed if we are sick. In the current pandemic, healthy pleasures are expensive. Therefore, we need to be grateful for the good health as well as possible.
Meaning: And if you counted the favors of Allah, you would not be able to count them. Indeed, humans are very unjust and deny many favors. (Surat al-Nahl: 18)
Good health is not a luxury like gold and silver. But it becomes expensive when health has turned ill. Good health is the crown of the body, when we are sick, we realize that health is very valuable. People who ignore their own health are people who save problems for their future. Even John Locke, an English philosopher, said: If acquiring knowledge damages our health, then we work for useless things.
No wonder, in a hadith it is narrated:
Meaning: It was narrated from Ibn Abbas RA, he said: The Prophet said: There are two pleasures that most people deceive (neglect) about, namely health and leisure. (Narrated by al-Bukhari).
In Mukhtashar Minhâjul Qâshidîn the essence of the book Ihya Ulûmiddîn narrated, there are people who complain about their poverty and show their distress to a pious person.
Then the pious said: Would you like to be blind by getting 10 thousand dirhams?
"No," he replied.
"Would you like to be mute by earning ten thousand dirhams?" asked the pious again.
"No," he replied.
"Are you happy to be a person who does not have both hands and feet by getting 20 thousand dirhams?," continued the pious.
"No," he replied.
"Are you happy to be a madman by earning ten thousand dirhams?" The pious continued to ask.
"No," he replied.
"Are you not ashamed to complain to your master while he has a treasure of 50 thousand dinars with you?," concluded the pious.
From this story, we can learn that the pleasures of health or health are far more valuable than a lot of money or abundant wealth.
Congregation blessed by Allah
How important is the blessing of health, until the Prophet SAW said:
Meaning: Whoever among you enters in the morning healthy in body, safe in his house, has staple food on that day, it is as if the whole world was gathered for him. (Narrated by Ibn Majah).
In Islam, maintaining health is an important part of the principles of maintaining the main shari'a (maqasidusy syarî'ah). It consists of; maintenance of religion (hifdzud din), self-preservation or health (hifdzun nafs), maintenance of reason (hifdzul 'aql), maintenance of offspring (hifdzun nasab), and maintenance of property (hifdzul mal).
On the other hand, Islam forbids various actions that endanger the health or safety of the soul, as stated in the word of Allah SWT which means: And do not throw yourself into mischief. (Surat al-Baqarah: 195); and the verse which means: And do not kill yourselves. Indeed Allah is Most Merciful to you. (Surat an-Nisa': 29).
Our bodies have rights that must be fulfilled in order to maintain health and balance. Among the rights of the body are to give it food when it is hungry, to fill it with drink when it is thirsty, to give it rest when it is tired, to clean it when it is dirty, and to treat it when it is sick. Islamic teachings place great emphasis on health. In order to stay healthy, there are 10 things that need to be considered, namely: (1) in terms of eating, (2) drinking, (3) movement, (4) silence, (5) sleep, (6) awake, (7) sexual relations , (8) lustful desires, (9) mental states, and (10) regulate the limbs.
It was narrated from Al-Abbas bin Abdul Muthallib RA, he said: I once came to the Messenger of Allah and asked: O Messenger of Allah, teach me a prayer which I will recite in my prayer. The Prophet replied: Ask Allah for forgiveness and health. Then I turned to face another time and I asked: O Messenger of Allah, teach me a prayer which I will recite in my prayer. The Prophet replied: O Abbas, O uncle of the Messenger of Allah, ask Allah for health, in this world and the hereafter. (HR at-Tirmidhi).
The most beautiful thing in this world is the gift of health and a happy family when you get older. For that, of course
